Charles Spurgeon once suggested if you could only read one chapter of the Bible to a dying man, John Chapter 3 would be the one. We open this Chapter with Jesus telling Nicodemus that to see the kingdom of heaven one must be born again, a spiritual rebirth and baptism of water, receiving the spirit of God. John, the author of this Gospel, speaks of God’s immense love for us, and His redemptive plan for our salvation through Jesus. The chapter closes with Jesus going to John the Baptist himself.
