Many may find themselves in church for many reasons, just like the multitudes who were fed the fishes and loaves, they may be fulfilling physical needs. Jesus tested his disciples, and wanted them to tend to their spiritual needs. Why are we following Jesus? The bread that fulfills our physical needs doesn’t last, it fades and rots away. But the bread that fulfills our spiritual needs lasts forever. In John Chapter 6 Jesus teaches us he is the bread of life, and whomever consumes of that bread shall have everlasting life.
