If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk
in the Spirit. Galatians 5:25
Your Christian life is about a walk in the Spirit, not about a speed race in the flesh. To walk in the Spirit means that there is a pace to keep, a way to follow, a direction to be moving toward, and an endurance of purpose that needs to be maintained daily. As the Holy Spirit leads you, He does not want you to come to the end of each day exhausted or gasping for spiritual breath. To walk in the spirit means that your daily life is not so much about “big events” as it is about a quiet pace, a steady progress, a consistent disposition, a pleasing manner, a gentle spirit, a quiet heart and a steadfast love.
